Genner Tests Bubbleup Flopper At Southwestern International Raceway - Nostalgia Funny Car News

Jenner Tests Bubbleup Flopper At Southwestern International Raceway

Gordon Jenner recently completed the construction on Ron Hodgson's 'Bubble Up' Nostalgia Funny Car and towed down to Southwestern International Raceway last weekend during the 2nd Annual Old Tucson Dragway Reunion to put the flopper on the track for the first time. Jenner had some very knowledgable help on hand with veteran tuner Roland Leong helping him sort out the tuneup. Terry Capp was unavailable to be at the track last weekend so Genner enlisted the help of Sean Dale, who drives the 'Shakey Situation' Charger Nostalgia Funny Car. Dale made a pair of passes on Saturday. Both passes were planned shut off passes to see how the flopper would react on the track. Kenny Youngblood was on hand as well to put the finishing touches on the 'Bubble Up' flopper."
